7373 Nokia picture

Nokia has certainly lavished plenty of attention on the design. There are some nice touches, such as the leatherette finish on the rear, a swirly pattern gracing the pink metallic finish on the front and a fabric label on the right-hand side. The screen, which swivels through 180 degrees to open, is also a real attention grabber.
Weighing in at 104g and measuring 88 x 43 x 23mm, the tri-band 7373 feels comfortable and solid in the hand without being too bulky for a handbag. Aside from its unique L'Amour styling, the phone is marked out by its swivel design that sees the handset rotate through 180 degrees. The spring-loaded swivel is both the main attraction and its main flaw, as despite the appeal it remains somewhat clunky in use.

Everything about the Nokia 7373 is easy to use, from the intuitive Symbian Series 40 OS to the simple, nicely spacious keypad.
Along with the cosmetic touches, the 7373 has an updated feature set. The camera has been hiked from 1.3 to two megapixels and stereo Bluetooth support has been added, along with a built-in music player and microSD card slot. The 7370 looked the part, but fell down on the feature side, so these tweaks bring the 7373 in line with current feature expectations.
A dedicated side key fires up the Nokia 7373's camera and it shoots in 1600x1200-pixel resolution. Picture quality is reasonable and, while we’ve seen better two-megapixel cameras, like the LG Shine, it’s still more than good enough for the casual snapper.
Framing your snaps on the 2-inch QVGA screen is easy, and pictures are of reasonable quality. However, there is a definite hint of picture noise - not helped by the lack of auto focus - and colour reproduction can be a little heavy on the green scale. Shooting video footage is also an option, but like most handsets remains more of a novelty feature with little by way of clarity, even at the maximum resolution of 176x144.
Music credentials are another must for success these days, and again the 7373 has attempted to tick the right boxes in this area, too. The music player happily supports MP3 and AAC file formats.
Other quirky features include Xpress audio messaging, which allows you to record and send voice messages, plus a garment and shoe Size Converter application in case you’re on a shopping spree abroad.
The 7373 has been given a much-needed feature rethink, and while its design may not be as subtle as other fashionistas, like the LG Chocolate or Shine handsets, it will definitely appeal to the frou-frou crowd.
